

Meet the E-Board
Jocelyn Tang
President
Jocelyn is a senior from Staten Island, NY studying Applied Economics and Management. She joined DOTS in Spring 2020 and developed her interest in finance in an inclusive environment alongside people from diverse backgrounds. Initially a Communications major, DOTS was one of the organizations that deepened her passion for business and pushed her to apply to Dyson. This past summer, she interned in investment banking at UBS and is returning for full-time. Outside of DOTS, Jocelyn is involved in Forté Campus and Bread Club, and she enjoys karaoke, board games, and nature.


Ethan Cieslinski
President
Ethan is a senior from Rochester, NY currently majoring in Applied Economics and Management. As a first-generation college student, Ethan admires the DOTS mission of providing financial education for any student regardless of background. Ethan is interested in venture capital and entrepreneurship and has had previous experience interning at a VC firm and an Investment Bank. Aside from work, Ethan enjoys building Lego, spending time with friends, and watching anything Star Wars.
Kevin Ren
VP of Finance
Kevin is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying economics and statistics and is originally from Richmond, VA. He joined DOTS in Fall 2020 to learn more about the technical skills needed for a career on wall street and to meet other candidates. At Cornell, he is also involved with Cornell Consulting Club, Cornell Quant Funt, and Cornell Alternative Investments, and is an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles!


Caitlin Tam
VP of Marketing
Caitlin is a sophomore in the School of Hotel Administration from Summit, New Jersey. She joined DOTS in Fall 2021 because she wanted to pursue her interest in finance and strongly believes in DOTS mission to make financial education accessible to anyone, regardless of background. On campus, Caitlin is involved in Cornell Hotel Society and HEC. In her free time, Caitlin enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and baking for her friends.
Melissa Gao
New Member Educator
Melissa is a senior studying Applied Economics and Management, concentrating in finance and focusing on sustainability at the Dyson School of Business. She is originally from Queens, NY, and joined DOTS in Fall 2021. Knowing the difficulties of entering the finance industry as a first-generation student, she wanted to take part in the club that helps foster an inclusive environment. Melissa is also involved as a Peer Advisor in the Engineering Career Center, CA for several business classes, Knit with Care, and Bread Club. During her free time, she likes to go to the gym/rock climbing center, cook, and watch YouTube.


Hasan Abbasi
New Member Educator
Hasan Abbasi is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in Economics & Statistics. He is from Houston, TX and joined DOTS to learn more about finance with a group of people from all types of backgrounds. Outside DOTS, Hasan is an active member of Cornell Current, Men's Cricket Team and a sector leader for Cayuga Capital. He also enjoys listening to Indian rap music, working out, and catching up on the news.
Martina Canatelli Velazquez
VP of External Relations
Martina is a junior in the Dyson School studying Applied Economics and Management with a concentration in Finance. She is originally from Argentina, and she currently lives in Miami, FL. Martina joined DOTS in Fall 2021 because she values its diverse and inclusive environment and wants to share her love for finance with others. On campus, she is also a Philanthropy Chair and New Member Educator of Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity and a member of the Society for Women in Business. Martina enjoys playing field hockey, skiing, running, and traveling around the world.


Marie Williams
VP of External Relations
Marie is a junior studying Information Science in the College of Arts and Sciences. She is originally from Palo Alto, California, and she joined DOTS in the spring of her freshman year in hopes of exploring her interest in the business world. As a student pursuing a STEM major, DOTS' mission statement of "Finance for any person, any study" particularly appealed to her. On campus, Marie is also a part of the Milstein Program in Technology and Humanity and Cornell's Varsity Swimming and Diving Team.
Angelica Sih
VP of Internal Relations
Angelica is a junior from Los Angeles, CA majoring in Applied Economics and Management in the Dyson School of Business. She joined DOTS in fall 2020 and developed an interest in the finance industry. Originally in the College of Arts and Sciences, Angelica was inspired to transfer to Dyson after going through the DOTS new member education series. The DOTS network has helped her both in school and at her internship this past summer doing equity research at Bank of America. Besides DOTS, Angelica is also a member of the Women's Varsity Swimming & Diving team, SAAC, and Red Key.


Tommy Kubicka
VP of Internal Relations
Tommy is a sophomore from Yardley, PA currently majoring in Applied Economics and Management. He joined DOTS in Spring 2022 in order to join students who come from a diverse group of backgrounds and majors learning about finance. This past summer, he worked at a private wealth management firm near his hometown and currently is working an internship with Red Bear Angels, an angel investment group. In his free time, he enjoys metal detecting and coin roll hunting.
Sahil Amin
VP of Engagement
Sahil is a sophomore in the School of Hotel Administration planning to concentrate in finance, accounting, and real estate. He is from Albany, NY, and joined DOTS in Fall 2021 because the mission of finance for any person, any study resonates with him as a first-generation college student. On-campus, Sahil is also a member of the Cornell Real Estate Club and Cornell’s First-Year Investment and Consulting Club. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, binge-watching Netflix, and hanging out with friends. A fun fact is his favorite basketball player is Russell Westbrook.


Fedra Vasquez
VP of Engagement
Fedra Vasquez is a Senior in the Dyson School of Business majoring in Applied Economics and Management with a concentration in Business Analytics. She joined DOTS in Spring aspiring to explore some interest in Finance. She enjoyed the work and support from the organization and decided to re-contribute to society. On campus, she is also part of the Society of Women in Business. She is originally from Venezuela but lives in Miami, FL. Outside of DOTS, she loves to play tennis, watch sci-fi movies and competitive cooking shows, and learn new languages/cultures.
