

Meet the E-Board
Franky Nguyen
President
Franky is a senior from Indiana, majoring in Applied Economics and Management with a concentration in Finance. He joined DOTS to reinforce his understanding of investments and valuation while working in a collaborative environment with individuals coming from a wide array of backgrounds. On campus, Franky is a member of Cornell Alternative Investments and a TA for Green World, Blue Planet. This past summer, he interned for an insurance software startup called Coterie, and he will continue his internship part-time throughout the academic year. Outside of academics, he enjoys weightlifting, mixed martial arts, boxing, anime, and chess.


Sahil Voona
Executive Vice President
Sahil is a junior from Upper Saddle River, New Jersey studying Applied Economics and Management and Data Science. He joined DOTS in Fall 2023 to gain more exposure to finance through NME, work on stock pitches, and meet other like-minded individuals. On campus, he is also part of Alpha Fund, CIBC, CFT and SABA. Last summer, Sahil interned as a Summer Analyst at Cornell's Investment Office and will be working at Crestview Partners this upcoming summer. Outside of DOTS, Sahil enjoys playing basketball, hiking, movies, and watching his favorite football team, the NY Giants.
Jason Lin
Executive Vice President
​Jason is a junior in the Dyson school, planning on concentrating in Finance and minoring in Information Science. He is from Detroit, MI, and joined DOTS in Fall 2023 to gain a fundamental understanding of finance and establish meaningful relationships. On campus, Jason is also the VP of Finance for Cayuga Capital, and involved with MICC and CAI. In his free time, Jason enjoys playing soccer, eating korean bbq, and watching movies.

Sandy Chen
VP of Engagement
Sandy is a junior at Cornell studying Industrial Labor Relations with minors in Applied Economics, Business, and Sustainable Business & Economic Policy. She joined DOTS in Fall 2024 to gain foundational knowledge in finance through the education series and to be a part of the inclusive community. She is passionate about public sector finance, global labor practices, impact investing, education equity, and public policy. In previous summers, she interned in municipal finance and workforce development. When she's back home in New York City, she enjoys exploring cafes and having spicy soft tofu stew with friends.
Greg Bucher
VP of Engagement​
Gregory Bucher is a junior studying Applied Economics and Management. He has previously worked as a derivatives trader and as an analyst at a small private equity firm. On campus, he is involved in the Cornell Finance Club, Cayuga Capital, Cornell Equity Research, and Impact Investing at Cornell. His personal interests include standup comedy and Rubik's cubes. Klaira Zhang
VP of External Relations
Klaira is a sophomore studying Applied Economics and Management. In Spring 2025, she joined DOTS and focused on the Technology sector, where she built a foundation in financial analysis and valuation. On campus, she is involved in rowing and is a TA for AEM2200. This past summer, she worked at a healthcare search fund and in lower middle market investment banking. Her personal interests include journalism, spinning pottery, and hiking. Henry Sun
VP of Engagement
Henry is a sophomore from Sydney, Australia, majoring in Economics and Information Science. He joined DOTS in Fall 2023 to develop his interest in the financial services industry with an inclusive community. Henry is currently an M&A intern at Sellside Group, a Dallas-based M&A firm. In the fall semester, he worked as a commercial real estate intern through Project Destined. Last summer, Henry interned at Cornell University’s IT Project Management Office. Previously, he worked in public policy as a STEM Youth Advisor for the Australian Government. On campus, Henry is involved in Cornell Startup Consulting, where he is a project manager. He is also a member of Cru Cornell, a Christian fellowship on campus. Outside of school, he is also interested in hiking, jazz music, and visual arts.

Janice Shen
VP of Marketing
Janice is a junior from Hong Kong, majoring in Economics and Information Science and minoring in AI. She joined DOTS in spring 2024 to gain professional and technical skills in the financial industry. This past summer, she interned at Moore Capital Management where she conducted thematic market research and utilized big data to help forecast key monthly economic indicators. On campus, she is also on the Cornell Equestrian Team and likes to play basketball and hike with friends.


Vicky Lin
VP of Marketing
Vicky is a freshman from Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. She is majoring in Applied Economics and Management with a minor in Real Estate and concentrations in Finance and Accounting. She joined DOTS in Fall 2024 to learn more about the field of finance, while being in a supportive, diverse environment. On campus, Vicky is also a Cornell Traditions Fellow and a KKR Accelerator Scholar. She also volunteers as an event planner for Muse Squad, a non-profit organization. Outside of academics, she enjoys going on runs, watching baseball, and going on random Target runs with friends.
Yair Sanchez
VP of Finance
Yair is a sophomore at the Dyson School majoring in Applied Economics and Management. He is from the Bronx, NY, and joined DOTS in Spring 2024 to gain a fundamental understanding of accounting and valuation methods. On campus, Yair is also a member of BlackGen Capital. In his free time, he enjoys watching soccer, binge-watching Netflix, and exploring new places.


Jose Salinas
VP of Internal Relations
Jose is a junior born in Mexico living in Illinois. He is majoring in Applied Economics and Management with a concentration in Accounting. Curious about finance, he joined DOTS to learn more about the field and to build a supportive community. Beyond DOTS, Jose is also involved with the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA), Scholars of Finance, and is a Mentor for the KKR Accelerator Scholars Program. Beyond academics, Jose loves playing and watching soccer: he is a huge fan of FC Barcelona. He also enjoys weightlifting and playing video games.
